Chapter 4 Discussion - Differentiating Reading Instruction

What do you think would be the biggest roadblocks to implementing a whole class differentiated unit? How could our LA PLC help you overcome those roadblocks?

Personally, I love doing one on one conferences because of the amount of information you get from students. However, they take so long and I have never been able to get them done quickly. What are your thoughts about one-on-one conferences? Since Laura Robb indicates that conferences are the backbone of assessment in differentiated instruction, how do you think you could adapt conferences in your classroom?
